Cam Newton Sets A Rookie Record In NFL Opener

Yesterday, Carolina Panthers rookie QB Cam Newton set a record with his 422 passing yards in his NFL opener. The number one draft-pick finished with two touchdowns and only one interception. Even though The Panthers took a L to the Arizona Cardinals, things are looking real good for Cam.

Randy Moss Retires After 13 Seasons

NFL wideout Randy Moss, one of the most talented and enigmatic figures ever to step on the football field, is calling it a career today after 13 seasons in the league. ” The Freak,” as he referred to himself, leaves with 153 touchdowns, which is tied with Terrell Owens for second on the career list, and is also fifth in yards with 14,858 and tied with Hines Ward for eighth in receptions with 954. Moss played for the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans.

Cam Newton Goes #1 In NFL Draft

NFL Player Stabbed By Wife

Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall was released from the hospital today after what police said was a domestic violence incident in which he was stabbed by his wife with a kitchen knife Friday. Marshall’s wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was arrested Friday in Florida on a domestic violence charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Mrs. Marshall was released from jail on a $7,500 bond this afternoon.
