Players Reject NBA Offer, Season In Jeopardy

Today, NBA players have rejected the league’s latest offer and began disbanding the union,a move that likely jeopardizes the season. The proposal players rejected today called for a 50-50 division of basketball-related income and proposed a 72-game season beginning Dec. 15. If bargaining resumes, a proposal that will await players is a 53 percent to 47 percent split of BRI in the owners’ favor, a flex cap with a hard ceiling and rollbacks for current salaries.

Kevin Hart Takes NBA Player To School

Maybe NBA guard Shannon Brown forgot to eat his Wheaties, or maybe Kevin Hart just got game like that. The 5’3″ comedian stripped the ball from Brown then stepped back to drain a three-pointer right in the two-time NBA champion’s eye. But it was all in fun, as Hart and Brown were hooping it up for the upcoming film ‘Act Like A Man.’ But thankfully, Brown recovered with a slam on the little man, because it would be a headache going around this NBA season hearing that he got schooled by a 5’3″ cat…if there is an NBA Season.

LeBron is staying in the gym and staying optimistic. The Miami Heat star and NBA villain is optimistic that the players and owners will work out an agreement so that there will be an NBA season. The NFL got it done, can the NBA follow suit? We shall see.

As if the NFL lockout weren’t bad enough, the NBA locked out its players today when its collective bargaining agreement expired. This is the first time since the 1998-99 season. Gonna be interesting to see how this one turns out.
