Nine years ago today, we lost one of the most illustrious stars that our culture has ever seen. Not only was Aaliyah Dana Haughton an accomplished recording artist with three albums under her belt (Age Aint Nothing But A Number, One In A Million & Aaliyah) she was also making a name for herself as an actress with films such as Romeo Must Die and the posthumous release Queen Of The Damned.
