Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in NYC closed last summer to undergo renovations. Last night the new father threw a grand re-opening, bringing out some of his celeb friends. Irv Gotti, Ashanti, Spike Lee, Steve Stoute and Kevin Liles were among those in attendance, and Jigga even brought out his billionaire-buddy Warren Buffet who was seen throwing up the Roc. Even though she’s only slightly more than 72 hours old, Blue Ivy Carter, aka B.I.C., today became the youngest person to be charted on Billboard with her dad’s song “Glory.” The cut staked its claim at #74 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Song chart.

After months of speculation and rumors about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s baby, it is reported that Bey has finally given birth to a baby girl at New York’s Lennox Hill Hospital.
E! News reports that according to “sources”, Bey and Jay’s daughter’s name is Ivy Blue Carter. There has been no official confirmation from Jay-Z or Beyoncé, but Russell Simmons and Rihanna are among the first celebs to send their congratulations via Twitter. Check out their tweets inside.
UPDATE: The Carter’s good friend, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, confirms the baby’s name is in fact Blue Ivy Carter via Twitter. According to GMA, the couple chose “Ivy” because of the significance of the number “4″ or “IV.”
