The stars of the film Die Hard and the TV show 30 Rock will team up this winter to locate a stolen, rare baseball card in the new comedy, “Cop Out.” Directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks), the film features Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as two NYPD cops on a search for the card that has been stolen by a goon who is fond of the memorabilia that belongs to Jimmy (Willis).
The stolen card is the only way that Jimmy can afford to pay for his daughter’s wedding, so he enlists his partner Paul (Morgan) to help him on the case. Only problem, Paul’s wife is supposedly cheating on him, so his spouse’s whereabouts will make it quite difficult for the two cops to focus their efforts on retrieving the card.
The film also stars Sean William Scott (Role Models) Jason Lee (My Name is Earl), Kevin Pollock (Tropic Thunder) and Rashida Jones (The Office).
“Cop Out” will be in theaters Feb. 26.
