R.I.P. Don Cornelius: Died Of ‘Self-Inflicted Gun Shot Wound’
February 1st, 2012 written by J.O.God rest the soul of Don Cornelius, the creator of the iconic Soul Train, as he has died this morning at his Los Angeles home. AP reports that Mr. Cornelius committed suicide. He was 75.
Officers responding to a report of a shooting found Cornelius at his Mulholland Drive home at around 4 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at 4:56 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter.
This is truly saddening news, our prayers go out to his family.
