By now, we’ve all heard what Spike Lee angrily told Chris Rock about his feelings towards Hollywood and how they treat black films. Was his ranting less about the state of black film or more about the mixed reviews he’s been getting for the premiere of his new film, ‘Red Hook Summer,’ at the Sundance Film Festival this past weekend. The Cardinals Win Their 11th World Series

Now I’m not much of a baseball fan, but I have to admit this World Series was pretty interesting. Earlier this week it seemed as if The Texas Rangers had this in the bag, but Friday night the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Rangers 6-2 in Game 7. Legendary Cardinal and the team’s current hitting coach Mark McGwire feels that the dynasty is complete:

“We had to win tonight,” said McGwire, “because it doesn’t become history unless you finish it off.”
