Whitney Houston & Jordin Sparks will be starring in the remake to the 1976 Motown-era film, Sparkle. This will mark Whitney’s first big Hollywood film since 1996′s The Preacher’s Wife and will be Jordin’s film-debut. Sparkle is set to hit theaters on August 10th, God Willing, and co-stars Derek Luke, Mike Epps, Michael Beach, Tika Sumpter and Cee-Lo. The film is written and directed by The Game’s own Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil.
