Monday, January 23rd, 2012Red Tails beat the odds this weekend by snagging the number two spot at the box office, raking in 19.1 million. The war-film based on The Tuskegee Airmen came in under Underworld 4 (25.4 million). Despite all the trouble executive-producer George Lucas had getting support for this film, moviegoers still went out and supported the film. Now that’s Black excellence, opulence, decadence!
Young Jeezy’s ‘TM 103′ Debuts As Number One Hip-Hop Album
Wednesday, December 28th, 2011Seems like Jeezy motivated alot of thugs in his first week. Snow landed the number one hip-hop album selling 233,000 units his first week. TM 103: Hustlerz Ambition came in third overall on Billboard behind Michael Buble and Adele. Common’s ninth album, The Dreamer, The Believer, came in behind Jeezy selling 69,000 copies.
