‘Red Tails’ Debuts With 19.1 Million At The Box Office

Red Tails beat the odds this weekend by snagging the number two spot at the box office, raking in 19.1 million. The war-film based on The Tuskegee Airmen came in under Underworld 4 (25.4 million). Despite all the trouble executive-producer George Lucas had getting support for this film, moviegoers still went out and supported the film. Now that’s Black excellence, opulence, decadence!
