From filmmaker Rick Famuiywa, who helmed the films “The Wood,” “Brown Sugar” and wrote “Talk To Me,” comes the comedy, “Our Family Wedding.” The film stars Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker, Regina King, Carlos Mencia, America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and Lance Gross (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne).
The film centers around two families, African-American and Latino, who are brought together through a series of circumstances that leads up to a wedding that neither clan is quite fond of happening. “Our Family Wedding” is scheduled for a spring 2010 release.
